Drone Exterior Cleaning for Tall & Hard-to-Reach Structures in DFW

The drone removes the person from the equation. BolAero delivers cleaning solution to any exterior surface within our operational range without anyone at elevation. Unusual geometry, awkward height, operational constraints — none of these prevent drone cleaning the way they prevent traditional access.

Some structures simply were not designed with exterior cleaning in mind. Unusual heights, awkward geometry, operational constraints, or location make traditional access methods impractical, expensive, or genuinely dangerous. These are exactly the structures BolAero was built to clean.

The Challenge

Why Traditional Methods Fall Short

If your structure has been difficult to clean — or hasn't been cleaned because no vendor could quote it reasonably — the problem is access. Every traditional cleaning method is a variation of the same solution: get a person physically close to the surface. When that's difficult, everything that follows is expensive and risky.

The BolAero Solution

How Drone Cleaning Solves It

The drone removes the person from the equation. BolAero delivers cleaning solution to any exterior surface within our operational range without anyone at elevation. Unusual geometry, awkward height, operational constraints — none of these prevent drone cleaning the way they prevent traditional access.

Why Drone Cleaning for Tall & Hard-to-Reach Structure Exterior Cleaning?

  • The drone reaches surfaces where traditional access is impractical or cost-prohibitive
  • Unusual geometry — spherical, cylindrical, angular — navigated from ground
  • Operational constraints — active facilities, traffic, restricted areas — not a barrier
  • Honest assessment provided: we tell you what we can and cannot reach
  • FAA Part 107 certified — airspace coordination for any location
  • Free site assessment for structures that have been difficult to quote

Building Types We Serve

Any tall commercial or industrial structure, specialty architectural features, communication towers, silos, grain elevators, cooling towers, bridge abutments, retaining walls, monument signs, specialty facades.

Recommended Cleaning Frequency

Varies by structure type and exposure. Contact us for a site-specific recommendation.

Pricing Context

Pricing for unusual structures is quoted after a site assessment. We provide honest evaluations of what we can reach, a written scope, and firm pricing before any work begins. No surprises.

Common Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the tallest structure you can clean?

Our drone reaches up to 300 feet — approximately 24 stories* — from an operating position. For structures above that height, we evaluate whether a staged zone approach is feasible based on available intermediate access points. We are transparent about limits — if we cannot clean your structure safely and effectively, we will tell you during the assessment.

Can you clean structures with unusual geometry?

Yes. Spherical tanks, cylindrical silos, cooling towers, tapered communication structures, and complex architectural forms are all navigable by the drone. The pilot controls the flight path in real time, adapting to the geometry of the structure. This is where drone cleaning has the clearest advantage over access equipment that requires flat surfaces for rigging.

What if my structure has never been cleaned because no vendor could do it?

Contact us for a free site assessment. We will evaluate the structure, identify the approach, and provide a written scope and firm quote. Many of our most interesting jobs are structures that other cleaning vendors passed on. If we cannot safely clean it, we will tell you that too — and why.

Do you handle communication towers and antenna structures?

Exterior cleaning of communication tower bases, lower sections, and attached structures is within our operational scope. Full tower cleaning to the antenna tip on tall communication towers requires evaluation of height, airspace, and approach — we assess these individually.

What about silos, grain elevators, and agricultural structures?

Yes. Silos, grain elevators, and agricultural storage structures are straightforward drone cleaning applications. Cylindrical geometry and rural locations with minimal airspace constraints make these efficient to clean. We serve agricultural and rural structures across North Texas.

How do you price cleaning for unusual or one-of-a-kind structures?

Quoted after a site assessment — always. We need to see the structure, understand the access constraints, and evaluate the approach before providing pricing. Assessment is free. You receive a written scope and firm pricing before any work begins. No surprises, no change orders.
